In good pond water, the carbonate hardness (KH) is clearly lower than the total hardness (GH). Use GH+ especially if the GH is about the same value or lower than the KH.
The ideal GH value of the pond water is between 8° and 12°. As a rule of thumb, the GH value should be approximately 1.2x the KH value (e.g. at KH = 7°, the GH should be 8.4°). Dosage: 100 grams/m3 increases the GH by 3-4°.
