Algisin is a powerful and accurate solution against filamentous algae. Within a few days the filamentous algae will start to disappear and after 14 days the entire pond will be free of filamentous algae. Filamentous algae can develop explosively due to sunlight and overgrow plants. Due to the enzymatic effect of Algisin these algae are deprived of sufficient nutrition. You can easily remove dead algae with a fine-meshed net.
